Terms
Last updated 21 August 2026
The short version: One Shot Fantasy is a free game built for fun. Play fairly, be decent to the other people in your league, and understand that we can't promise a hobby project will never break. Using the site means you accept what's below.
Who can play
You need to be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. One account per person, please — you can run several teams from it where a league allows that.
You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.
The game
One Shot Fantasy is survival fantasy football. The rules are set out on the how to play page, and your league's commissioner can adjust the weekly targets for their own league.
It's free, and there's no money in it.We don't charge to play, we don't take entry fees, and we don't run prizes or handle payments of any kind. This is not a gambling service.
If the people in your league arrange something between themselves, that's entirely their arrangement — we're not part of it, can't help with it, and take no responsibility for it.
Playing fairly
Don't:
- create extra accounts to gain an advantage in a league
- use team or display names that are abusive, hateful, or that impersonate someone else
- harass other players, or use the co-manager invitations to send people things they didn't ask for
- try to break, overload, or find your way into parts of the site that aren't yours
Team names and icons are yours to choose and yours to stand behind. We can remove anything that breaks the above, and we can close an account that keeps doing it.
Scores and data
Player scores and NFL schedules come from third-party providers. They can be delayed, occasionally wrong, and are sometimes corrected after the fact — which means a result can change after you first see it.
We do our best to keep the numbers right, but we can't guarantee they are. If a scoring error changes who survived a week, tell us and we'll look at it, but the final call in any league belongs to its commissioner.
Availability
The site is provided as it is. We don't promise it will always be up, always be fast, or never lose anything — it's run by a couple of people in their spare time, on services we don't control.
We may change features, pause the service, or shut it down. If we're shutting it down for good, we'll give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
Where we stand
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses arising from using the site — including missed line-ups, incorrect scores, downtime during a week that mattered, or an elimination you think was wrong.
Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, and in particular nothing takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Ending things
You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time — see the privacy page for how.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why if we do.
Changes
We'll update this page and the date at the top when these terms change. If a change is significant, we'll say so on the site rather than expecting you to notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and any dispute will be dealt with by its courts.
